Albert Ferrer

Albert Ferrer (Barcelona, 1970) came from the youth set up and was one of the pillars of the legendary 'Dream Team' coached by Johan Cruyff

Albert 'Chapi' Ferrer was an excellent right back who stood out for his pace and his fighting spirit, qualities that made him a great man to man marker. The Catalan defender was a selfless and disciplined player who won the hearts of the Barça fans early in his career as they appreciated his commitment and his sacrifices for the team. 

After a successful season on loan at Tenerife, he returned to become a fixture in the Barça back four beginning in the 1990/91 season. In 1998 he left to sign for Chelsea where he played for five seasons.
