FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC reach agreement on Jules Kounde transfer

FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of Jules Olivier Kounde. The player will be signing a contract with the Catalan club for the next five seasons. The buyout clause has been set at one billion euros (€1,000,000,000).

Next Monday 1 August from around 11.30am CEST, the player will be officially presented behind closed doors at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

The agenda for Jules Kounde’s official presentation is as follows (all times CEST):

-11:00am: Private signing of contract in the offices at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
-11:30am: Public signing on the Tito Vilanova field followed by a photo session in the 22-23 home strip
-12:15pm: Media conference in the pressroom at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

First workout as a Barça player

On the afternoon of July 29, Kounde got kitted out in blaugrana for his first training session at the club. The Frenchman exercised in the gym and then did some work on the field at the Ciutat Esportiva.
