FC Barcelona informs that Sergi Barjuan is stepping down as Barça B coach. He will continue to work in other roles within the Club's Football Department structure. FC Barcelona expect to name his replacement as a coach of the development side in the coming days.
Sergi Barjuan took on the role of Barça B coach last summer, his third different role with the Club, after being a player and Under-19B coach in the past. As Barça B coach, Barjuan came close to reaching the play-offs last season, finishing the 2021/22 campaign with 57 points in Primera RFEF Footers group 2, comprising 16 wins, nine draws, and 12 defeats.
