Barça U19A 2-0 Valencia: Into the Final Four
Into the Final Four (2-0). A great first half by Barça U19As, rounded off by a brace by Víctor Barberà, enabled the win against Valencia at the Estadí Johan Cruyff in this first round of the Copa de Campeones. The final four will take place next week in Las Rozas.
Barça's number 9 shines
The Under 19As got off to a great start, dominating possession, before the team's top scorer Víctor Barberà scored after 17 minutes to make it 1-0. Barça continued to peg back Valencia, remaining true to their philosophy and again Víctor Barberà showed his eye for goal, finishing off a nice move between Marc Casadó and Aleix Garrido with a precise unstoppable shot (2-0, min. 33).
Qualification confirmed
Valencia attempted to push up after the break to try to get back into the game, but Ander Astralaga's interventions ensured that the first half performance was enough to take them through to the Final Four.
