Ansu Fati the supersub
Ansu Fati has a magic wand. He only has to come onto the pitch and it seems goals are always on the way. Against the A-League All Stars, he only needed four minutes to put the ball in the back of the net. And it’s not the first time this season that he’s come off the bench to score almost immediately.
Camp Nou to Australia
It’s been an injury-plagued season for the youngster, but that hasn’t prevented him from having an impact. After 323 days out of action, he reappeared in the 70th minute against Levante and scored an absolute beauty from outside of the area.
In Riyadh and Seville
Three and a half months later, he returned from another injury, this time in the Super Cup semi-.final against Real Madrid. He entered the field in Saudi Arabia after 63 minutes. Just 20 minutes later he was already celebrating a comeback goal.
Following yet another fitness problem, and 115 days after he had last scored (that time in the starting eleven and against Valencia) he only been on the field for 75 seconds against Real Betis when he fired in his sixth goal of the campaign.
But that was not the last time he came on as a supersub. On the trip to Australia, Ansu Fati was s second half substitute and just four minutes after being sent on, found himself scoring the goal that secured victory in Sydney. The 19-year-old is a guarantee to wied his magic, and it doesn’t matter where he is in the world!
