The squad for the trip to Frankfurt
Europa action returns following Barça's excellent win on Sunday at home to Sevilla in La Liga which has taken them to second place in La Liga. The blaugranes travel to Germany to take on Eintracht Frankfurt, kick off 9pm CEST, in the first leg of their Europa League quarter final.
For the clash coach Xavi Hernández has named 21 players for the trip: Ter Stegen, Piqué, R. Araujo, Sergio, Riqui Puig, O. Dembélé, Adama, Braithwaite, Neto, Lenglet, Pedri, Jordi Alba, Ferran, F. De Jong, O. Mingueza, Eric, Aubameyang, Nico, Gavi, Balde and Arnau Tenas.
Memphis, last minute absentee
The first team player Memphis has a hamstring strain in his left thigh and his recovery will dictate his return. Sergiño Dest, Sergi Roberto, Ansu Fati and Umtiti are all also missing due to injury, Luuk de Jong is also out after his recent positive test for Covid-19 and Dani Alves is ineligible.
On their travels
The Barça squad travel to Germany on Wednesday where Ferran Torres and Xavi Hernández will appear before the media prior to a training session at the venue for the game against Eintracht Frankfurt, the Deutsche Bank Park.
