Tickets sold out for Women's Champions League semi-final at Camp Nou
The Barça Women will be back at Camp Nou on April 22 for the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final against Wolfsburg and they’ll be appearing once again in front of a full house.
There has been huge demand to see the first leg of the game that’ll decide who goes to Turin on May 21, and in just over 24 hours, all of the tickets have already been snapped up.
The 50,000 free tickets for club members disappeared on Monday. On Tuesday, sales opened up to the general public, and the venue was sold out by the afternoon.
The club still has some tickets that UEFA regulations stipulate must be reserved for certain groups, but depending how many more seats can be released, more should be available in the build-up to the match.
Fans to play decisive role again
After the immense success of March 30 and the quarter final against Real Madrid, which broke the world record attendance for a women’s football match (91,553), the Barça faithful now have another chance to get en masse behind the women’s team. Wolfsburg, European champions in 2013 and 2014, are an extremely strong side and the team will once again be needing all the support they can get.
