The squad for El Clásico

Xavi Hernández has announced his squad of 23 players for the Clásico at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday at 9.00pm CET.

Dani Alves returns after sitting out the game with Galatasaray though ineligibility, while Sergiño Dest misses out after picking up a hamstring injury in that game. The full squad is as follows:

Ter Stegen, Piqué, R. Araujo, Sergio, Riqui Puig, O. Dembélé, Dani Alves, Memphis, Adama, Braithwaite, Neto, Nico, Lenglet, Pedri, L. De Jong, Jordi Alba, Ferran, F. De Jong, O. Mingueza, Eric, Aubameyang, Gavi and Arnau Tenas.

In addition to Dest, Ansu Fati, Sergi Roberto and Samuel Umtiti are also still out with injuries.

Last session at Ciutat Esportiva

The team trained for the last time before taking on the league leaders on Saturday afternoon. Pitch 2 at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper was the venue. The team will be flying to Madrid on Sunday morning, and will rest at a hotel in the city before transferring to the stadium in time for the 9.00pm CET start
