Versatility in attack
The former Manchester City player brings together qualities that allow him to pay in any position up front, out wide or through the middle.
One of Ferran Torres' many qualities is his finishing. His ability to lose his man and his positioning in the opponents' penalty area all play a part in his knack for scoring goals.
Now he has the chance to keep showing his quality at FC Barcelona, another step in his short but busy career so far. He started playing for Valencia when he was just seven years of age and progressed rapidly and he made his La Liga debut on 16 December 2017 against Eibar, in doing so becoming the first player born this century to appear in the competition.
In little over two seasons with the Valencia first team he made 97 appearance for los che, scoring nine goals. Torres then signed for Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side and playing more as an out and out striker, he scored 11 goals in 30 appearances. His form attracted the attention of Spanish national team coach Luis Enrique and he is now a fixture in the international set up.
