Electoral census approved with a total of 110,159 members
The Referendum Board, formed by five members chosen by a draw in the presence of a notary, met on Friday 10 December in the Sala Roma at Camp Nou to approve the electoral census for the referendum on the Espai Barça financing which will take place with online voting on Sunday 19 December. At the meeting also present were the director of the Social Area, Josep Ignasi Macià and the Members' Ombudsman, Joan Manuel Trayter.
After the exposition of the census closed on Tuesday and with time limit for claims passed, the Referendum Board approved the census with a total of 110,159 members with the right to vote in the referendum.
From the electoral census a total of 45,496 members are in the city of Barcelona, 57,168 in the rest of Catalonia and 7,495 in the rest of the world.
Of the 110,159 members eligible to vote, 82,551 are men and 27,608 women.
The conditions to form part of the electoral census are to be past the age of majority, not to be legally incapacitated, to have been a member for at least one year and not to be suspended as a member.
