FE Zaragoza 3 - 5 Barça: 10 in a row!
Tremendous win for the Barça futbol sala team in La Liga. Three more points to further consolidate first place for Jesús Velasco's team. This was an important matchday 9 win against Zaragoza, with Jaén visiting for the top of the table clash in the Palau, before going on to play the Champions League Elite Round.
Goals from Ferrao, Marcenio, Adolfo (x2) and Lozano in the Pabellón Siglo XXI in Zaragoza helped Barça to another win, the tenth in a row across national and European games, a run they will hope to continue.
Positive from the off
Barça's dynamic approach from the off paid dividends. First Ferrao scored his fifth goal in a row and 11th in the league, before Matheus created a second goal for Marcenio to go 2-0 up by the 10th minute. They would have extended the lead further but for a couple of chances hitting the bar. Zaragoza then grew into the game and managed to half the deficit by the 23rd minute.
Barça bring it home
Spurred on by that goal, Barça responded and Adolfo scored to make it 3-1 before Lozano hammered in a rebound to extend the lead to 4-1. Dian Luka then scored his second to again halve the difference, but Adolfo turned on the style to make it safe at 5-2. Dian Luka wasn't finished, however, completing his hat-trick in final minute but the game was already won.
The seventh win in the Liga, leaving Barça out in front on 21 points after 8 ganes, one point ahead of Jaén, their upcoming opponents in the Palau.
