At. Sanluqueño 0-2 Barça B: Winning streak continues
The reserves have earned a brilliant 2-0 victory in El Palmar, home of Atlético Sanluqueño in Sergi Barjuan’s return to normal duties after serving as interim first team manager. That’s now six games in a row without defeat in the Primera RFEF Footters.
Barça B took a while to settle, but the danger eventually started to come, with Jutglà powering a fine effort just wide and Rodado and Abde also having a go
Sanluqueño were struggling to create much of their own, but Miguelete came very close to scoring just moments before Jutglà did some fine work down the right and Rodado opened the scoring for the visitors towards the end of the first half.
Barça B kept up the pressure after the restart, and Aranda had almost doubled the lead just seconds after the restart, Abde made a fabulous run down the right and Jutglà made no mistake with the finish. 2-0 and Barça good value for their lead.
Things got complicated after 72 minutes when Barça B were reduced to ten men after Ndiaye picked up a second yellow card. The edge of the extra man gave the home side new verve, but despite some late pressure they were unable to find the net and Barça B are coming home with three very important points in the bag.
