Ter Stegen decisive in Ukraine

The German goalkeeper made two particularly crucial saves to ensure the team came out of the game with Dynamo with all three points

Marc Andre Ter Stegen posted a great performance against Dynamo Kyiv on Tuesday. The German stopper, along with Ansu Fati’s goals and a fine a—round display by the team were able to earn the first win under Sergi Barjuan.

The keeper made three major saves during the game, two of which were especially decisive. The first came in the 25th minute with the score still 0-0, and the second came eight minutes from the end with Barça defending their one-goal lead.

It equalled Ter Stegen’s second best save count in all competitions this season. His largest tally was four against Bayern Munich at Camp Nou, while he made three against Cádiz, Benfica and Real Madrid.
