First start for Sergio Agüero

Sergio Agüero made his first appearance in the starting XI in the cruel defeat in Vallecas against Rayo Vallecano. The blaugrana number 19 scored his first goal for Barça in the Clásico at the weekend but the Argentine was unable to add to his total in the Estadio de Vallecas.

The Argentine striker played up front with Memphis and Coutinho and in the first half he had a few half chances but nothing clear cut. In the final stretch of the game with Demir and Luuk de Jong now partnering him he came closest to scoring deep into injury time with a diving header at the near post.
