5 things you should know ahead of Barça v Getafe
Match day three of La Liga comes around this weekend and the blaugranes welcome the visit of Getafe to Camp Nou. Ronald Koeman's team have taken four points from their first two matches in the 2021/22 season and they will be looking to make that seven from nine ahead of the upcoming international break. We take a look at some of the facts surrounding the fixture against Míchel's team.
One defeat in 17 games
Barça have lost just once in 17 games in La Liga against Getafe and that came in a 1-0 defeat away from home in October 2020. 13 wins have come for the blaugranes in those 17 matches, the most recent at Camp Nou being a 5-2 win last season.
Getafe have made 16 visits to Camp Nou, drawing four and losing 12 - more than against any other side in La Liga.
Míchel, one win against Barça
Getafe's new coach Míchel has lost seven of his eight meeting with FC Barcelona in La Liga, winning just once. Along with Real Madrid, Barça are the side against whom the coach has lost most.
Griezmann likes playing against Getafe
Antoine Griezmann has played a part in eight goals in 10 matches against Getafe in the league (five goals and three assists). He has scored in each of his two appearances for Barça against Getafe at Camp Nou.
Memphis on a roll
Memphis Depay has scored once and provided an assist in his two games in La Liga and could become the first blaugrana since Cesc Fàbregas in 2011 to be involved in a goal in his first three games in La Liga.
Three former blaugranes
In the Getafe squad we find three former Barça players: Carles Aleñá, Sandro Rámirez and Marc Cucurella. The latter will be missing due to injury but Aleñá and Sandro are fit to face their former club at Camp Nou.
