A month has gone by since then, as the Dutch international was busy representing his country at Euro 2020 together with his new team-mate Frenkie De Jong, where Holland eventually crashed out to the Czech Republic in the round of 16. Depay played all four games (327 minutes), scoring two goals and giving two assists.
Immediately after arriving, he spoke to Barça TV, saying he feels “very happy and I'm looking forward to going to Camp Nou and getting to know everyone who forms part of Barça".
He adds that he hopes to win a lot of titles at the club and that he is excited about playing under Koeman again: "He gave me confidence when I was injured and saw my recovery. He supported my move here, to the biggest club in the world, and I’m ready to offer my best.”
Later in the day, Memphis is going to be shown around Barça Studios, the Museum, the Barça Store and the Barça Café, thus completing a 100% blaugrana first day at his new club.
