Tribute to Vicky Losada, the eternal captain
The career of Vicky Losada as a blaugrana has come to an end. The Barça captain said goodbye the club in her final appearance at the Estadi Johan Cruyff in the 9-1 win over Eibar. It was an emotional day with a standing ovation from fans and team mates alike.
Eternal captain
Vicky Losada leaves the club she joined as a 14 year old, making her first team debut at 17. After spells in England and in the USA, Losada returned to Barça in 2016 to usher in the most successful seasons in the history of Barça Women.
After winning the treble in 2020/21, the league, cup and Champions League, Losada leaves with an honours list that reads 6 league titles, 6 Copas de la Reina, a Spanish Super Cup and of course a Champions League title in her 375 games as a blaugrana.
