The second match day of the European Championship ends
The second matchday of the group stage of the European Championship has ended. This Saturday, the games played saw strong Barça representation.
France remain the leaders of Group F after they drew with Hungary (1-1), which leaves them with four points after two games. The Hungarians went ahead, but Antoine Griezmann equalised on 66 minutes. He played the 90 minutes, while Dembélé came on in the 57th minute but was replaced in the 87th. Lenglet did not participate.
As for the Spanish team, Luis Enrique's men drew against Poland (1-1) and are now third with two points. They'll have to win on the last day to ensure qualification to the Round of 16. Pedri and Jordi Alba both started and played the 90 minutes, while Sergio Busquets didn't play in a match where Morata and Lewandowski got on the score sheet.
Differing paths for Barça players
As for the rest of Barça's players, De Jong and new signing Memphis are already mathematically qualified with the Netherlands after beating Austria 2-0 on Thursday. Denmark's defeat against Belgium (1-2), also on Thursday, complicates things for the Braithwaite and the Danish squad, who have no points after two games.
