Vicky Losada reveals this is her final season

Vicky Losada has given a press conference on Friday at which she has announced that this will be here last season with the Barça women’s team. The captain was speaking to the team, the staff and the board members present in the pressroom at the Ciutat Esportiva, and was visibly moved by the occasion. She thanked her family and everyone at the club for everything they have done for her in her time at FC Barcelona, saying “it has made me the happiest person in the world.”

Asked why she is making this announcement now, she said "it is difficult to pick the right moment because it has been nice to be here at a time when women’s football has come out of the shadows to become much more visible, and to have won the Champions League.”

She added that “Barça is my own and I carry it in my heart. From now on, I’m going to be one supporter more.”
