Barça Women 8-0 Athletic: Another exhibition

Marta Torrejón was honoured for 300 official matches with FC Barcelona before the Iberdrola League trophy was raised by captain Vicky Losada in the presence of the president of FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta. 

Make way for goals

Lluís Cortés' side played another brilliant game against the Basque side. From start to finish, the hosts were on the front foot and barely gave their visitors time to settle on the ball.

After just four minutes, Jenni Hermoso gave Barça the lead after Lieke Martens' header against the post. The No.22 soon had spectators off their seats again with a great goal on 13. 

Before half-time, Martens again, thanks to an assist from Torrejón, made it 3-0, before Hermoso bagged her second and Bruno made it 5-0.

Another clean sheeet

Despite the game already being over as a contest, Barça continued to dominate. Hermoso soon completed her hat-trick with Bruna getting her second before Crnogorčević rounded off the win late on.

The win was a 27th in 27 league games, with 136 goals scored only five conceded.
