Graham: 'We're very close and everyone is hungry to win'
A few days before the Women's Champions League final against Chelsea, Caroline Graham Hansen gave an interview to Barça TV and talked about the road to the final, as well as some personal and collective feelings ahead of the big match. "We are very close and everyone is very hungry because we want to win the Champions League," the No.16 said. "The Champions League was one of my goals. I have lost two finals and so I know what it feels like to lose face in a great game like this."
She also recalled the cruel elimination in the semifinals of the last edition: "The biggest lesson we learned is that we were better than Wolfsburg. Everybody saw it and the opponents themselves said it. But the best team doesn't always win. The feeling I had is that we would return because we've been very consistent throughout the season. We've done a great job on the pitch and can compete against any team."
Ahead of Sunday's final, the Norwegian winger is clear: "In the final I will take risks, I will not be afraid to keep trying. Coming home with the Champions League is my dream and everyone else's. Chelsea want it too! We have to play well and leave everything on the pitch."
