Badalona 0-0 FC Barça B: Valiant effort

A good point for Barça B at Badalona, which ensured García Pimienta's side finished this first phase in second place, with 34 points.

Both teams played with a lot of desire in order to keep alive their options: The hosts for promotion to the First RFEF in the event of Andorra's defeat; and the blaugranes, for the promotion phase to Segunda Division A.

Equal

Neither side dominated, and the closest the visitors came to a goal was when Konrad's free-kick hit the post in the 14th minute. A Badalona counterattack saw Nestor with only Arnau Tenas to beat, but the Barça goalkeeper was equal to the task five minutes later.

In the second half, and with Lleida's goal against Andorra giving Manolo González's team some impetus, Badalona came out in a much more attacking frame of mind. However, much as Badalona tried, Barça B defended well. The same patterns of play continued until the end of the game, the 0-0 final score a fair result.
