Pedri: 'Everything I'm experiencing is incredible'
Pedri has reviewed current Barça news with El Club del Deportista and assured that "he is here for whatever the coach needs and to play in whatever position." Below are his best statements from the interview.
Personal feelings
"I'm fine. The injury in the first leg of the cup semifinals was very hard at the beginning compared to what it finally turned out to be. I left the field in a lot of pain and I was worried, but in 48 hours I had recovered."
"When I left Seville I thought I couldn't play the second leg but finally it was a wonderful game."
"I was thinking of doing the preseason and see if I could stay and continue working to be able to have the maximum number of minutes possible."
"What I'm experiencing is incredible. My last year has been full of emotions since I arrived at Barça."
The family
"I have my relatives close by and they ensure I keep a cool head. By being humble and with them close, I am prepared for everything."
The team
"Barça already have idols like Messi, Piqué and many more. The young people who are starting out, like Ansu Fati, Riqui and I need to play at a high level to stay in the first team."
Ronald Koeman
"The position I like to play most is in midfield. Being behind the striker and being able to give the last pass is something that I like so much. But I'm here for whatever the coach needs and to play in whatever position."
Leo Messi
"Playing with Leo is easy because you give him the ball and you know things will happen."
"Hopefully I can be around Leo for several years, it would be great to learn alongside him."
The Spanish senior team
"It is an award that I face with great enthusiasm and I'll try to play as if I were in the town square."
