Piqué makes return from long-term injury
Gerard Piqué returned to action in the game against PSG, for the first time since suffering a Grade III ligament sprain and partial ACL tear to his right knee last year.
The centre back had been sidelined since the match in which he incurred the injury -away to Atletico Madrid on November 21. He was included in the squad for the Champions League encounter ahead of his recovery schedule, and featured for 78 minutes before being replaced by Riqui Puig late on.
Solid passing
Gerard Piqué had a notable showing against PSG at the Camp Nou. He completed all 71 passes that he attempted against the French team. The last time he had 100% accuracy on his passes was in the Champions League game against Dinamo Kiev, shortly before his injury, on November 4, 2020. On that occasion, he played 70 passes without interception.
