Ronald Araujo has a sprained left ankle

Tests carried out on Monday on the first team player, Ronald Araujo, have confirmed he has has a sprained left ankle. The player's recovery will dictate his return to action. The Uruguayan centre-back started the Betis v Barça match but had to be substituted after 10 minutes.

20 appearances

This season Araujo has made a total of 20 appearances for Barça, 18 in the starting XI, 12 in the league, three in the Champions League, two in the Super Cup and three in the Copa del Rey. 

Araujo scored his first goal for Barça on 19 December with an excellent volley at Camp Nou in a league game against Valencia.
