FC Barcelona to face Sevilla in the Copa del Rey semi final
Barça now know who stands between them and a place in the final of the Copa del Rey. Ronald Koeman's team will face Sevilla in the semi finals over two legs, the first on Wednesday 10 February, kick off 9pm CET at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán stadium and the return on 3 March at Camp Nou, kick off also at 9pm CET.
The blaugranes made it to the last four thanks to their epic 5-3 extra time win over Granada after goals from Griezmann and Jordi Alba in the final minutes of normal time saved Barça from elimination. The Frenchman put Barça 3-2 up in extra time and although Fede Vico's penalty brought Granada level, goals from De Jong and Jordi Alba again handed Barça a memorable win.
Should Barça make it past Sevilla in the semi final then they will face the winner of the other tie between Athletic Club and Levante in the final.
It will the 16th time that the two club meet in the Copa del Rey with the most recent match bringing back happy memories for culers as it came in the final in 2018 which ended in a 5-0 victory for the blaugranes.
