Leo Messi back in the squad for Rayo v FC Barcelona

The Copa del Rey returns to its midweek home and Barça face Rayo Vallecano in their one off last 16 tie in the Estadio Vallecas on Wednesday, kick off 9.00pm CET. 

The blaugrana coach Ronald Koeman named his 20 man squad for the cup tie against the Second Division side with the highlight being the return of Leo Messi after completing a two game ban after his dismissal in the Spanish Super Cup final against Athletic Club. 

The full squad is:  Ter Stegen, R. Araujo, Sergio, Griezmann, Pjanic, Braithwaite, Messi, O. Dembélé, Riqui Puig, Neto, Lenglet, Pedri, Trincao, Jordi Alba, F. De Jong, Umititi, Junior, Ilaix, O. Mingueza y Arnau Tenas. Missing due to injury are Dest, Piqué, Coutinho, S. Roberto and Ansu Fati. 

Sergiño Dest still has a thigh problem and is not available for selection. His recovery will dictate his return to action.
