600 goals for the No.10
Another record for Leo Messi, who continues to reach astonishing numbers. With his goal this Sunday at the Camp Nou against Levante, the Argentine star has now scored 600 goals whilst wearing the Barça No.10 shirt. 600 goals since the 2008/09 season, when Messi inherited the number that Ronaldinho had worn for five years.
In total, Messi has 642 goals as a Barça player, of which 449 have come in LaLiga, 118 in the Champions League, 53 in the Copa del Rey, 14 in the Spanish Super Cup, 3 in the European Super Cup and 5 in the Club World Cup. If we focus on the 600 goals scored with the No.10, the numbers don't vary much: 418 in LaLiga, 110 in the Champions League, 50 in the Copa del Rey, 14 in the Spanish Super Cup, 3 in the Super Cup in Europe and 5 in the Club World Cup.
The No.10 has long been associated with the Argentine legend, but it must be remembered that he'd previously worn the No.30 and No.19 shirts (from his official debut in 2004 until the beginning of the 2008/09 season), with which he scored a total of 42 goals. These goals are broken down as follows: 31 in LaLiga, 8 in the Champions League and 3 in the Copa del Rey. Whatever number he wears, Messi guarantees goals.
