Training with Barça B

Following Saturday’s Clásico at Camp Nou, the squad were back at the Ciutat Esportiva on Sunday for a training session with a difference.

Iñaki Peña, Arnau Tenas, Braithwaite, Junior, Riqui Puig, Aleñá, Konrad, Matheus and Ramos Mingo trained with the Barça B players, whose game with UE Olot this weekend was suspended due to the detection of positive Covid-19 cases among the opposing team.

They were also joined for the first time ever by players from the U19A team, namely José Marsà, Alex Rico, Frank Angong, Txus Alba, Ángel Alarcon and Ilias Akhomach, as well as Jaume Jardí, who joined the first team for one session last year too.

Ronald Koeman has called the next session for 11.00am CET at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, with the Champions League game at Juventus very much on everyone’s minds.
