Ansu and Dest among Golden Boy finalists
Ansu Fati and Sergiño Dest are both still in the running to be named Golden Boy 2020. The award presented each year by Italian paper Tuttosport is given to the best young player of the year, who in this edition must have been born from the year 2000.
It started with 100 players, but things are now into the fifth round and just twenty players remain. Barça’s Pedri was eliminated in round three, but Ansu Fati (2002, 17 years) and Sergiño Dest (2000, 19 years) are still there. It’s a second year running for Ansu, who finished sixth in 2019.
