Barça Women v Logroño: A thumping victory (6-0)

Barça Women, after receiving a guard of honour for their 2019/20 league triumph as well as the trophy, got to work quickly. Lieke Martens put the hosts ahead after six minutes, before Caroline Graham Hansen made it 2-0 after a Logroño defender had hit her own post (min 17).

The intensity didn't let up and Vicky Losada scored the third with a good shot from inside the area. Aitana added a fourth goal in the 42nd minute after Martens had hit the upright. 

Opportunities

The Catalans had multiple opportunities to extend the lead in the second half, Oshoala going close after a great cross by Graham. Barça's insistence eventually got its reward thanks to Alexia, who made it 5-0 with nine minutes left. In injury time, Aitana rounded off the victory with the sixth goal, taking advantage of a bad defensive error from the visitors.
