The return of the Champions League is rapidly approaching. Just nine days remain before the Barça vs. Napoli game, the second leg of the Last 16 contest. The Camp Nou will host another magical European night, in which the Blaugrana will attempt to move into the final stage in Lisbon. Nine days remain, and there have been nine Italian opponents for Barça in official contests throughout history.
Napoli, Fiorentina, Internazionale, Juventus, Lazio, AC Milan, Roma, Udinese and Sampdoria are the nine teams from Serie A who have taken on FC Barcelona. The most frequent opponents are AC Milan, whom they have met 19 times in official competition. Internazionale have stood in their way on 14 occasions, Juventus 13, Roma and Fiorentina 6 apiece, Sampdoria, Lazio and Udinese 2, and there has been just one game against Napoli so far (the first leg at San Paolo back in February of this year)
In total, Barça have played Italian clubs in 65 games: 31 wins, 19 draws and 15 defeats, scoring 110 goals and conceding 67.
