Pjanic, Serie A champion
New FC Barcelona player, Miralem Pjanic, has been proclaimed Serie A champion this Sunday. With the win against Sampdoria (2-0), the midfielder has earned his fourth consecutive league title in Italy.
Pjanic has been an important player for the Turin-based side, having already played 29 games (27 as a starter) with two matchdays still to go until the end of the championship.
In those games he's scored three goals and provided five assists, has a 90% passing accuracy and made more than 150 ball recoveries, proving that he is a complete midfielder capable of providing support in both attack and in defence.
Seventh title
With this new title, he now has a total of seven as a professional, all of them at Juventus: four Serie A, two Italian Cups and an Italian Super Cup. Since he arrived in Italy in 2011, Pjanic has played a total of 280 games, in which he has scored 42 goals and provided 69 assists, maintaining an average pass success rate of 88%.
He will close his stage in Italy with a new league title, after nine seasons in Serie A (five with Roma and four with Juventus). From next year, the Bosnian will try to continue to increase his record with Barça.
