Squad announced for Liga restart
At long last, we have la Liga! Quique Setién is taking his team to Mallorca on Saturday for a 10.00pm CEST kick-off, and this Friday he followed his press conference by announcing the following squad: Ter Stegen, N. Semedo, Piqué, I. Rakitic, Sergio, Arthur, Suárez, Messi, Neto, Griezmann, Jordi Alba, Braithwaite, S. Roberto, F. De Jong, Vidal, Umtiti, Junior, Iñaki Peña, Riqui Puig, Collado, Ansu Fati, R. Araujo and Monchu.
The biggest Barça league squad ever, all due to the new league rules that will also be allowing for five changes per game, does not include either the suspended Clement Lenglet or the injured Ousmane Dembélé.
Last session in Barcelona
The team worked out for the final time before they return to competitive play, with the all the fit players involved, and that meant Arthur Melo and Samuel Umtiti too, who were both declared fully recovered from their minor concerns, as was reserve team player Monchu.
