Stat of the day | 58: Barça coaches
Almost 60 managers from 13 different countries have been in charge at FC Barcelona over its more than 120 year history
Barça's more than 120 year history owes a lot to the men who have been in charge of the football first team. From the very first, the Englishman Billy Lambe in 1912, to the current boss Quique Setién, 58 different men have held the position of first team coach.
13 different nationalities and one history
The very first coach was English and since 1912 a total of 16 coaches have been from Catalonia, 13 from the rest of Spain and 11 coaches have come from the United Kingdom, the inventors of the modern game. Barça's history has also seen five Argentinian coaches, five Dutch coaches, three Hungarian coaches, two Germans, two Serbian coaches, an Austrian, a Uruguayan, a Slovakian, an Italian and a Frenchman.
