Barça, coached by Rinus Michels, started with a lineup of Mora, Rifé, Torres, De la Cruz, Costas, Juan Carlos, Rexach, Asensi, Cruyff, Sotil and Marcial. That night they were in top form and relentless in front of goal, with strikes from Asensi (2), Cruyff, Juan Carlos and Sotil in a dominant display.
