Barça Women 5-0 Madrid CFF: Still unbeaten at home
Madrid CFF were the latest team to be put to the sword at the Johan Cruyff stadium. A 14th home victory saw Barça Women end the weekend atop the league table and still unbeaten at home. Alexia Putellas received recognition from the club for playing 300 games with the first team before kick-off, but then it was down to business, and Lluís Cortés's side have been in unstoppable form.
Graham and Jennifer, top for assists and goals
It took 21 minutes for Jennifer Hermoso to open the scoring, and in so doing, she became the top scorer in the Iberdrola League. Her 21st of the season was followed in the second half by her 22nd and 23rd as she went on to complete a hat-trick. Caroline Graham's assist for the opener, as well as her second of the game for Vicky Losada to make it 2-0 after half an hour, meant she was in pole position in the league in terms of assists.
The hosts continued to press home their advantage with Hamraoui, Aitana, Alexia and Patri all playing their part, but it wasn't until the 94th minute when Van der Gragt completed the scoring. With a break for internationals next, it will be two weeks before Barça Women are in action again, when they play Levante.
