Griezmann opens the door for Barça

Antoine Greizmann is the ice breaker for Barça. The Frenchman played a decisive role for the blaugranes in the 1-1 draw away at Napoli, opening the scoring and getting the all important equaliser and away goal. 

In 35 games this season Griezmann, the Frenchman has scored 14 goals with nine of them opening the scoring for the blaugranes. Against Betis back in August Griezmann found the net first in a 5-2 win for Barça. Since then he has repeated the feat on eight occasions across all competitions - La Liga, the Champions League, Spanish Super Cup and the Copa del Rey.

- In La Liga Griezmann has opened the scoring on five occasions, the same number as his new team mate Martin Braithwaite did with former club Leganés. 

- Griezmann is level with Braithwaite in second place in the category as Karim Benzema has done so on 7 occasions for Real Madrid. 

- Aside from the league, Griezmann has opened the scoring in the Copa del Rey against Ibiza and Leganés and in the Champions League against Napoli.
