Five talking points from Barça v Getafe
Saturday's win against Getafe (2-1), Barça's 16th in the league this season and the third in a row in domestic competition, has thrown up a few interesting stats:
Leo Messi: King of assists
The Argentine has six assists in his last three league games: two against Levante (both for Ansu Fati), three against Betis (for De Jong, Busquets and Lenglet) and one against Getafe (for Griezmann). That makes it 12 assists in the league, 15 in all competitions, and is just one short of last season's total in LaLiga.
Sergi Roberto's first of the season
For more than a year before Saturday's game Sergi Roberto hadn't scored, his last goal coming on January 30, 2019 against Sevilla in the Copa del Rey. League wise, the last time he netted was on August 20, 2017 against Betis... when Quique Setién was coaching the verdiblancos.
15 different scorers this season
With Sergi Roberto finally getting on the score sheet, there are only three first team players left to get a goal this season apart from the goalkeepers: Semedo, Rakitic and Umtiti. Messi (19), Suarez (14), Griezmann (13), Vidal (6), Ansu Fati (5), Arthur (3), Lenglet (3), Busquets (2), De Jong (2), Carles Pérez (2), Piqué (1), Dembélé (1), Jordi Alba (1), Junior (1) and, last, Sergi Roberto (1) are Barça's scorers so far in 2019/20.
Griezmann decisive against Getafe
The Frenchman has played a part in seven of the last eight goals in the league: four goals and three assists. He scored his eighth league goal this season with an exquisite finish, which was also his thirteenth in all competitions as a Barça player.
A record attendance this year
Camp Nou saw its best attendance of 2020 against Getafe: 80,409 spectators. It was the sixth highest number of spectators at the stadium this season, and the fourth highest in the league.
