Messi's sixth Ballon d'Or on display at Barça Museum
Leo Messi's sixth Ballon d'Or is on display at the Barça museum. The award won last December has been placed in the Camp Nou museum along with the other five won by the Argentinian (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015).
Messi made history again at the gala in Paris, becoming the footballer who has won the award most times in the history of football, and Barça also regained its lead as the club with the most Ballon d'Or winners. A total of 12 are led by Leo Messi (6), two for Johan Cruyff and one each for Luis Suárez Miramontes, Rivaldo, Stoichkov and Ronaldinho.
It was the culmination of a magnificent individual year by Messi, when he also won the Golden Shoe, FIFA's 'The Best,' the Pichichi top scorer award in LaLiga as well as finishing as the highest scorer in the Champions League. Not to mention a league title to go with the individual accolades.
Now, anyone who wants can visit the Barça museum can enjoy Messi's six Ballon d'Or's first-hand. Don't miss out!
