Marc Márquez to make Clásico pre-kick off appearance
The MotoGP rider, who has won eight motorcycle racing titles worldwide, is a regular at the Camp Nou
Wednesday's El Clásico at the Camp Nou will have a well known face to carry out the traditional 'honour' kick-off: Marc Márquez. The eight time MotoGP world champion will make a pre-game appearance down on the pitch at Barça's stadium before making the symbolic gesture of the kick off ahead of the clash between Barça and Real Madrid.
Márquez, a well-known Barça fan and in 2019, he has visited Camp Nou for the 2-0 win over Atlético Barça-Atlético Madrid (2-0), which pretty much secured the league title for FC Barcelona, and the comeback in the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey against Sevilla (6-1).
Just a few weeks ago, on 6 October, he clinched his eighth world title, and his sixth in the MotoGP category.
