Lleida 1-1 Barça B: A good point against a direct rival

Seven games unbeaten and the fourth consecutive draw against a direct rival. Barça B extended their streak after earning a valuable point against Lleida (1-1). The visitors dominated possession, but were unable to make that pressure count, Monchu going closest for the visitors but finding Pau Torres was equal to his shot.

The response from the hosts was immediate, though Marc's shot sailed over. Saverio was denied by Torres before Liberto fired Lleida into the lead against the run of play. Coming just seven minutes before the break, it was an ideal time to score, but in the final action of the half, Hiroki equalised after a great cross from Akieme.

Given that Carevic, Cuenca and Sarsanedas were injured, Riqui Puig was suspended and Morer, Araujo, Ansu Fati and Carles Pérez had been called up to the first team, Garcia Pimienta was delighted with the performance and the point. It also gave Ilaix Moriba, normally with the U19A side, an opportunity, and he replaced Reis after the break. He had the clearest chance of the second half but hit the crossbar.
