33 games unbeaten in UCL at Camp Nou

2-1 win against Inter secures second longest run without a loss at home in the competition's 64-year history

The Camp Nou resists in Europe. The 2-1 comeback win against Inter Milan makes it 33 Champions League games in a row that Barça are unbeaten on home turf.

That’s already a record in the current format, and the latest tally means Barça have now gone one better than rivals Real Madrid, who were unbeaten at home for 32 games from 1975 to 1990 in what was then the European Cup.

There’s still some way to go before beating Bayern Munich, who held out for an amazing 43 games between 1969 and 1991.

Six years without defeat

The Germans were precisely the last team to leave Camp Nou victorious, way back in 2013 when they won 3-0 in the semi-finals.

Since then Barça have won 30, drawn three and lost none of the games played in the Catalan capital, scoring 101 goals and conceding just 16 (and never more than one a game).

Those games have included the fabulous 6-1 comeback against PSG, plus some other mighty routs of Bayern Munich (3-0), Manchester City (4-0), Olympique Lyonnais (5-1), Manchester United (3-0) and Liverpool (3-0).
