The squad to play Betis

With the exception of the Joan Gamper Trophy in early August, Barça return to the Camp Nou, this time for the league match against Real Betis, corresponding to the second game of the 2019/20 season. For this match, which will be played at 9.00pm CEST, Ernesto Valverde has called up 18 players.

They are: are Ter Stegen, N. Semedo, Piqué, I. Rakitic, Sergio, Arthur, Rafinha, Lenglet, Griezmann, Jordi Alba, S. Roberto, F. De Jong, Vidal, Umtiti, Junior, Iñaki Peña, C . Perez and Ansu Fati.

Todibo, M. Wague and Aleñá have been left out by the coach, whilst Suárez, Messi, O. Dembélé and Neto are still injured.

Last session 

This Saturday the team trained for the last time before the game against Betis. A session on the Tito Vilanova pitch had the players available from the first team working out alongside Iñaki Peña, C. Pérez and Abel Ruiz from Barça B, and Ansu Fati, from U19A. Leo Messi carried on with his recovery, as did Suárez, O. Dembélé and Neto.
