Valverde: 'I'm happy with the players I have. They are all very very good'

ANN ARBOR, Michigan — Ernesto Valverde appeared before the media at Michigan Stadium, one day before Barça face Napoli in their final match of their summer tour and the preseason. Here are the highlights of what he had to say.

On the team:

 “I’m happy with all of the players I have, they are all very very good."

On Ivan Rakitic:

"He has been a very important player for us and we think he will be once again this season, although I can’t guarantee that he will play as much as last season.”

On Riqui Puig:

“Both he and the club must evaluate a possible loan. It’s true that right now we have a lot of players in the midfield."

On Napoli:

“It’s possible that the starting lineup on Saturday will be the same as next Saturday. But maybe not, we’ll see."

On the preseason in general:

“All of these matches that we play against strong teams are good for us, although they may seem less friendly."
