Barça and Roblox join forces to bring more than 90 million children and teenagers around the world closer to the Club
FC Barcelona has joined forces with Roblox, the leading digital platform for the creation of online videogames for children and teens with more than 90 million users around the world, allowing members of the gaming community to access the exclusive limited edition avatar bundles “FC Barcelona: Talent takes different shapes”, customised with the new Blaugrana home kit for the 2019/20 season.
Users will be able to choose from either the “Elite Playmaker” or “Elite Striker” avatar bundles featuring the new Barça jersey, which for the first time in Club’s history is swapping the traditional Blaugrana stripes for a checkerboard print. A unique experience whereby they’ll be able to express their team fandom and camaraderie while they play their favourite games in the Roblox universe.
This brings FC Barcelona a wonderful opportunity to connect with younger fans in an environment designed and created especially for them, which develops their imagination and creativity as they explore different worlds and experiences in 3D.
New Barça jersey, presented via the ‘Talent takes different shapes’ campaign, expresses the Club’s passion for the city of Barcelona and takes inspiration from the famous grid layout of the city’s Eixample district, home to some of the most emblematic buildings designed by the great architect Antoni Gaudí.
