The squad for the trip to Liverpool

One of the most important weeks of the season is upon us as we visit Anfield on Tuesday to face Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool FC in the second leg of the Champions League semifinals (kick-off 9.00pm CEST). This Sunday, Ernesto Valverde has called up 23 players for the match.

They are: Ter Stegen, N. Semedo, Piqué, I. Rakitic, Sergio, Coutinho, Arthur, Suárez, Messi, Rafinha (not available), Cillessen, Malcom, Lenglet, Murillo, Jordi Alba, Prince, S. Roberto, Vidal, Umtiti, Vermaelen, Aleñá, Iñaki Peña and M. Wague.

O. Dembélé, because of injury, and Todibo are not travelling with the team and will stay in Barcelona. It should also be noted that Carles Aleñá will continue wearing the No.26 until the end of the competition.

Recovery session

This Sunday the team returned to training after the defeat against Celta at Balaídos (2-0). The available players from the first team as well as Wague, Collado and Riqui Puig of Barça B, and Tenas, from the U19A side, worked out on the Tito Vilanova pitch of the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. On Monday morning the team will head to Liverpool, and they will train on the Anfield pitch from 7.00pm CEST.
