Munir scores twice in 5-2 win for Spain U21s in Georgia

The Barça striker plays a big part in World Cup qualifier victory for tournament in Poland in 2017

The Spanish U21s picked up their second win in two matches in qualification for the World Cup in Poland in 2017 thanks to a 5-2 victory over Georgia in Tblisi in which blaugrana Munir El Haddadi scored twice. The side coached by another former Barça man, Albert Celades, had to come from behind to take all three points despite taking an early lead.

Barça striker Munir opened the scoring after just two minutes, turning in a cross from former team mate Gerard Deulofeu. In a topsy turvy encounter, Georgia then equalised just two minutes later through Tsintsadze. In the second half the home side took the lead when Lobzhanidze scored on the hour mark, however, Spain came roaring back, Marco Asensio, Borja and Munir again giving them a 4-2 lead before a late goal from Betis’ midfielder Dani Ceballos rounded off  a comprehensive 5-2 win.
