Tasisat Daryaei v FC Barcelona Lassa: Winning start thanks to Wilde fire (2-4)
Three from the Brazilian and one more from Lin plus a fine performance from Cristian overcome a strong Iranian challenge in the first game at the Futsal International Cup
FC Barcelona Lassa got off to a fine start in the XV Futsal Intercontinental Cup with a 4-2 victory against Iranian champions Tarsisat Dayaei in the opening game of Group A.
Brazilian pivot Wilde was very much the man to thank with three of the Catalan goals (the first after just 13 seconds), with Lin getting the other and Cristian posting an absolutely fabulous performance, who made a series of stunning saves to prevent the Asian side from coming back from a 3-1 deficit.
Shamsaei did eventually get the gap back to just one goal, but just when they were playing some of their best football of the game, Wilde slipped in the fourth and ensured that Barça took the maximum points from their first outing in the tournament.
