FC Barcelona in England for six-day training camp
FC Barcelona's pre-season training regimen moved north on Monday, as the team embarked on a trip to England for a six-day stay training camp at St. George's Park, about 55 km north of Birmingham.
The team's flight from Barcelona-El Prat took off at 10.30am CET and landed at Birmingham Airport about two hours later, around 11.30am (GMT+1).
The team then went to St. George's Park, the site where they will train until Saturday, 30 July when they fly to Dublin for their first pre-season game against Celtic in the 2016 International Champions Cup. Kick-off is set for 7.00pm local time.
Eleven players, plus Cristian Tello and Martín Montoya, made the trip. Joining them were 12 players from Barça B and the Under-19 team.
Lionel Messi, who ended his vacation early to return to training, will also be with the team at St. George's Park. Arda Turan made the trip as well, while Adriano Correia, with Club permission, did not.
Here is the full squad that made the trip to St. George's Park: Masip, Arda, Suárez, Messi, Munir, Sergi Roberto, Aleix Vidal, Mathieu, Denis, Montoya, Tello, Samper, José Suárez, Josep Martínez (U-19), Marlon, Martínez, Borja López, Carbonell, Gumbau, Aleñá, Nili, Alfaro, Cámara and Mujica.
